AIインタビュアーってなんだ

本日はAI失業した立場から見えてきたAIとの明るい共同作業をお伝えします。
「仕事なくなってばっかりで技術の進歩ってほんとにいいのかな」と暗く考えがちな佐野ですが、少しずつ光も感じられるようになっています。

「そもそもAIインタビュアーってなんだ」というところから。といってもシンプルです。
機能は3つです。
企画立案、インタビュー、原稿作成です。

話し手にとっては「知っておいて欲しいことはすべて記憶していて、鋭い質問を繰り返してきて、話終わったらインタビュー原稿をつくってその場で見せてくれるAI」です。

私のような著者なら本の内容やインタビュー内容でしょうし、ミュージシャンであれば歌詞や活動履歴です。

「もういいわ」と言うまで質問を繰り返してきて、そこから原稿までつくれます。
インタビューテーマも複数候補出してくれます。
２〜３週間かかっていた仕事が、２日で終わる・・・

「鋭い質問ばかりしてくる」「忘れていたことを思い出せた」など、話し手にとっても良い話し相手になるようです。

ここから見えたのは、AIを使うと自分がノウハウ的、性格的、立場的に諦めていたことができるようになる、です。

AIは人間が諦めていたことを叶えてくれる

例えば私はミュージシャンや経営のインタビュアーをしていたのですが、もどかしいことも多かったです。

「これ聞きたいんだけど、なんて聞いたら話し手は話しやすいんだる」とノウハウや記憶が不足していたときもあります。
「これ聞いたら戸惑わせるかな、話したくないことかな」と消極的な性格から言葉がでないときもありました。
「インタビュアーの立場で企画内容にないことを聞いてしまうのはやめとくか」とスルーしたことだってあります。

ノウハウ的、性格的、立場的に諦めていた、言ってしまえば自分を守ってしまったことで話し手のメッセージを抽出しきれないことはたくさんあります。

といった人間の（ここでいえば佐野の）限界を軽く突破してくれたのが、インタビューAIでした。

AIなら人間よりも性格に大量に情報を記憶できます。
AIなら「嫌われるかな」なんて忖度せずに突っ込めます。
Aiなら「外されるかな」なんて保身に走らずに何でも聞けます。

「インタビュアーとしてこうあれたらな」と思っていたことを実現してくれたAIには、ちょっと畏怖の念すら感じます。
でもどこかで「まぁ、AIだからな、学ばせていただきます」くらいの余裕も持てます。

話し手も「AIに聞かれる分ならイラッとしないし、話したくないことなら”他のこと聞いてくれ”ですむ」わけです。

AIはジャーナリストになれるのか

確かにAIには限界もあります。

「会話が盛り上がるとすぐ制限きちゃう」があります。
なので、AIインタビューするときは時間に余裕を持つ必要があります。
その分休めるし、すぐに原稿も確認できるから合計としてはかなり時短です。

一番のデメリットというか考えないといけないのはジャーナリズムは完全に失われる点です。
批判的に見ないといけない、真実を追及しないといけない場面においてはAIインタビュアーはあまり適さないはずです。

とはいえ、ここも話し手と独立させてAIインタビュアーをつくればいいだけでもあります。
あとは「どう使うか」の問題になります。
話し手主導ではなく、聞き手主導で使えばクリアできる課題です。

メッセージ

ということで、AIインタビュアーをつくって自分から失業してみました。

失業というと避けたい事態ですが、実際に使ってみると「諦めていたことができるようになる」を体感できます。

AIが言う「何でもできますよ」はどんどん説得力を増します。
人間がするのは「これやりたい」と夢を伝えることです。

「夢の見つけ方」なんていう古くて大切なテーマがAI時代には再熱するかもしれませんね。

というか、技術や道具は人間の限界を超えていくものなのでノウハウ的、性格的、立場的に諦めていたことをAIができるようにしてくれるのは自然なことかもしれないですね。

佐野も自分の分身AIをつくって、「その知識と考え方でもって原稿つくって」なんてする予定です。
自分の枠を越えれるんじゃないかと楽しみです。

What is an AI Interviewer?

Today, I’ll share some bright perspectives on collaborative work with AI, viewed from the standpoint of someone who “lost their job to AI.”
While I often brood over whether technological advancements are truly beneficial—especially when job losses are involved—I am gradually starting to see the light.

First of all, what exactly is an AI interviewer? It’s simple.
It has three primary functions: planning, interviewing, and drafting manuscripts.

For the speaker, it acts as a partner who “remembers everything you want to share, repeatedly asks sharp questions, and drafts an interview manuscript for you on the spot.”

For an author like me, it might recall details about book content or interview topics. For a musician, it could store lyrics or career history.

It keeps asking questions until you say “Enough,” and then drafts a manuscript from the discussion. It also proposes multiple interview themes to choose from.
Tasks that used to take 2–3 weeks can now be completed in two days.

Users have remarked, “The questions were so insightful,” and “It helped me remember things I’d forgotten,” making it a great conversation partner.

From this, I realized that AI enables people to achieve things they had previously abandoned due to limitations in their knowledge, personality, or position.

AI Helps Realize What Humans Had Given Up On

For example, when I was conducting interviews with musicians or business executives, I often felt frustrated.

There were times when I lacked the expertise or memory to frame questions in a way that made the interviewee feel comfortable.
Other times, my reserved personality made me hesitate, wondering, “Will this question confuse or upset them?”
And sometimes, I refrained from asking off-topic questions out of concern for my role as an interviewer.

These were instances where I chose to “play it safe,” leading to missed opportunities to fully uncover the interviewee’s message.

The AI interviewer, however, effortlessly overcame these human (in this case, my) limitations.

AI can store a vast amount of information more accurately than a human.
AI doesn’t hesitate out of fear of being disliked and can ask direct questions.
AI is not concerned with self-preservation and can pursue any line of questioning without hesitation.

The AI achieved the kind of professionalism I had always aspired to as an interviewer, leaving me both awestruck and inspired.
At the same time, it’s easy to adopt a humble mindset of “Well, it’s AI—let’s learn from it.”

Interviewees also seem more at ease with AI: “If AI asks something I don’t want to answer, I can just say, ‘Ask me something else.’”

Can AI Become a Journalist?

Of course, AI has its limitations.

For instance, “conversations can get cut short once the AI’s parameters are reached.”
Thus, allowing extra time when scheduling AI interviews is advisable. However, this often frees up time overall, as drafts are ready immediately, resulting in significant time savings.

The most significant drawback—or challenge—is that journalism, in its purest sense, may be compromised.
In scenarios requiring critical evaluation or the pursuit of truth, AI interviewers might not be the best fit.

That said, this could be addressed by designing AI interviewers to operate independently of the speaker.
Ultimately, the issue boils down to “how it’s used.” By shifting to a listener-driven approach rather than a speaker-driven one, these challenges could be mitigated.

Final Thoughts

And so, I ventured into unemployment by creating an AI interviewer.

While losing a job is often viewed negatively, using the AI firsthand allowed me to experience how it enables things we’d once abandoned.

AI’s promise of “you can do anything” grows ever more convincing.
What humans need to do is express, “This is what I want to achieve.”

The timeless and essential theme of “how to discover your dreams” may gain renewed importance in the AI era.

After all, technology and tools exist to transcend human limitations. It’s only natural that AI helps overcome barriers of knowledge, personality, and position.

I’m also planning to create my own AI avatar, capable of drafting articles based on my knowledge and thought processes.
It’s exciting to imagine how this could help me transcend my own boundaries.

Let’s surpass ourselves with the help of AI.
